The shower looks excellent when it is dry. Unfortunately, showers spend a fair amount of time doing the opposite. A small lake beside the drain becomes surprisingly hard to ignore.
Show the water route, not just a wet photograph
Schluter explains the role of slope in directing water to the drain. Record where water collects and whether it clears after use. Droplets clinging to textured tile are different from a defined pool; the installer should assess the actual condition.
Ask how the repair protects the whole assembly
A proposed correction should explain what is wrong and how the waterproofing remains continuous. More grout or a tile overlay is not automatically a solution. Keep the product details and original installation photographs available. If there is leakage or water escaping the shower, stop using it pending assessment.

- Photograph the same area immediately after use and later.
- Ask for a diagnosis before agreeing to the repair method.
- Confirm how waterproofing and warranty requirements will be preserved.
A squeegee can be a good cleaning tool. It should not be the entire explanation for a shower floor that fails to drain as intended.
