Imagine a fictional couple, Dev and Julia, finding a fridge on sale after approving their cabinets. Same width, nicer handles. On delivery day it fits the opening but the wall stops one door opening far enough to remove a drawer. The discount has acquired a cabinet-modification bill.
A model number is a design decision
A product photo cannot tell the cabinet maker where ventilation gaps belong, how much a hinge projects, or where the power connection can sit. Download the installation sheet for the exact model, including its suffix. Keep the sheet with the final cabinet plan rather than forwarding an old shopping link.
- Fridge: opening size, ventilation, hinge-side clearance, full drawer removal, water connection, and projecting handles.
- Dishwasher: finished opening height, door swing, service access, and panel specifications if integrated.
- Range or cooktop: approved cutout, adjacent clearances, electrical or gas requirements, and ventilation coordination.
- Wall oven: cabinet support, cutout, electrical location, and access for removal.

That page describes its own service; your Canadian retailer's delivery scope must be confirmed separately. Ask who disconnects old appliances, who connects the new ones, and what stops a delivery.
Measure the journey into the room
Check the front door, vestibule turn, stairs, handrails, and kitchen entry. Ask the delivery team which dimensions apply with packaging or permitted door removal. Do not assume removing an appliance door is possible or included. A wide doorway followed by a tight right turn can defeat a perfectly good tape-measure result.
The useful ending is slightly annoying
Dev and Julia's imagined fix is a narrower fridge and a return charge. They get less freezer space than planned. They also get drawers that come out for cleaning. That is the kind of compromise worth finding before the cabinets leave the shop.
